Thy Kingdom Come in Sunderland
Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement, which invites Christians around the world to pray between Ascension and Pentecost for more people to come to know Jesus Christ.
Connect Network is coordinating opportunities for this to happen across the City of Sunderland during the ten days of prayer between 25th May - 4th June.
For more information or to join the team making this happen please contact Emma.
People will commit to pray with God’s world-wide family - as a church, individually or as a family
Churches will hold prayer events, such as 24-7 prayer, prayer stations and prayer walks, across the UK and in other parts of the world.
People will be empowered through prayer by the Holy Spirit, finding new confidence to be witnesses for Jesus Christ.
Every day between 25 May and 3 June (excluding the Sunday) we invite you to meet for prayer between 9am and 10am and 9pm and 10pm.
25 - 29 May St Mark's Church, Millfield
30 May - 3 June Enon Baptist Church
We will have prayer stations set up to guide you and there will also be space to pray with others.
We finish the ten days on Pentecost with a Thy Kingdom Come celebration at the Stadium of Light on Sunday 4 June (at 6pm) to pray for our City.
We are delighted to be joined by Debra Green OBE from ROC. We will have time of worship, prayer and networking.
This event is free to attend, a collection will be taken to cover costs.
