A network of clergy and others in Christian ministry getting good quality input from professionals and supporting one another
Christian ministry can be psychologically demanding and the last two years of working through the pandemic have taken their toll. We are aware that we need to nurture our own wellbeing, and support others who are struggling, but we often struggle to find the time and the resources to do this.
Connect Network has teamed up with Dave Burke, pastor, and mental health first aid trainer to create an online community for clergy and those in Christian leadership to meet once a month for an hour, get some professional input from someone active in the field of mental health, discuss what has been said and how we it can make a difference to our own life as well as our ministry.
We will also be looking at the bible and some of the helpful ways it addresses concerns around our mental health.
Our aim is to encourage one another to look after our own well-being and to receive some first-rate input on how we can support others.
Visit our events page for more details and to register for our next session. We would love to see you there.
We are also planning two free retreat days in Shepherd's Dene in Northumberland in 2023. Watch out for more details coming soon!
These sorts of projects are achievable when churches work together and support one another!
If you have an idea for a project and need some help why not get in touch and see how we can help?
