Fiona and Deb first met at Oasis Aquila Housing where Deb handed her role onto Fiona and during that handover month a strong friendship was formed with a joint love of fun and laughter!  Years later, Deb and Fiona worked together through Connect Network linking young people to go onboard a Tall Ship as part of the Tall Ships race that started from Sunderland in 2018 through the Christian organisation Morning Star Trust.  From this adventure, the Soul Sailors trip developed where a group of homeless and vulnerable adults took on a sailing challenge on the North Sea.

Fiona works for the National Trust and has the privilege of looking after a diverse portfolio of heritage buildings.  Through her professional skills of estate management and building surveying Fiona aims to support Connect Network in looking after its premises and legislation queries.
