Babatunde (Babs) joined Sunderland Connect Network as a Trustee in 2020; he brings with him a wealth of experience in financial management having spent over 20 years of his career in this field.

 

Babs is a music minister at the Chapel of Light in Sunderland, he has a passion for lifting people’s spirits with music and you will often find him playing the keyboard.

 

Babs dreams of seeing all churches united for one purpose, to help free people from low self-esteem, hunger poverty and sickness; his inspiration is captured in the statement, ‘Those that are saved should rise up to the salvation of others’.  This, together with his desire to positively impact Sunderland, providing support for the vulnerable through charitable works and God’s word, makes him an ideal trustee choice to join our network.
